Fort Snelling Historic Site
The scope of this resoration project included assessment of the physical condition of the wood and stone masonry components of these key structures at Historic Fort Snelling as well as archival research by team consultant, The 106 Group Ltd, to determine more precisely the approporiate restoration approach. Based on our research and assessment, a restoration approach was devleoped that more accurately interprets the historic character of the structures and provides current code compliance for the safety of the visitor.

The flagpole was reconstructed based on historic research of the appropriate design for the 1820-1830s period and location at the fort.
